At our first reunion 31 veterans plus 20 family members came. We had prepared name tags using their pictures "as they were then" from the "Moresby" book. On large charts we posted laser copies of the photos of all the men from the book. On each we indicated those attending, those whose address we knew, those who were deceased, and those for whom we were still seeking information.

It's impossible to describe the emotions as the guys arrived and greeted people they hadn't seen for nearly 50 years. At our dinner we shared many memories. All agreed we must meet again in two years.
