Inactivated, Philippines, 31 May 1946. (Renamed 54th Fighter Wing Jun 1946, inactivated Oct 1950) Serving under the Wing were the Headquarters; the 2nd Combat Cargo Group; the 317th, 374th, 375th and 433rd Troop Carrier Groups; the 333rd and 415th Signal Corps; the 801st, 804th, 820th Air Evacuation Squadrons and the 21st Air Service Group. |
