As the boxcar wound its way north and west of the Detroit area, it found itself on the White Brothers pike of Bert and Marty Danowski (no relation to the White Brothers Dairy, I'm told). We had to be careful to keep it away from all of the UP stuff, lest we be charged some kind of a fee. :)
Instead, we allowed some of the class of the Standard Railroad of the
World to handle the job of maneuvering the car westward.
