Flower City Tinplate Trackers
2004 New York State Train Fair
Syracuse NY
November 6 - 7, 2003
The Flower City Tinplate Trackers is a Modular 3-rail train club from
Rochester, NY. The club has been in existence since 1990, and can
set up a modular layout that is 166 liner feet, in any configuration, like
30’ x 58’. Our modules follow the standards of the Independent High
Railers with 3 main lines along the front edge. We have a color video system
(Choo-Choo Cam) with the camera mounted to the inside roof of a locomotive
cab that projects the image seen through the engineer’s window to a TV.
There are also many operating accessories that the public can operate from
buttons along the front edge of the layout. We have exhibited at
such shows as the Great American Train Show in Buffalo, Rochester and Syracuse.
Similarily, we have shown at the Railroad Showcase in Lockport, and the
Edgerton Model Railroad Club’s Toy Train Fair in Rochester. We also
set up at the National Convention of the Toy Train Operating Society when
it was in Rochester a few years back and several few times at the Strong
Children's Museum.
