Greg McMurry

On May 13, 2004, the Traveling Boxcar arrived at Greg's Trainyard .

My layout was designed particularly to explore the use of computer controlled train operation.
My work takes me on the road a good deal of the time.  I have designed my layout to be
operable over the Internet and make use of a dozen or more remotely operated video cameras.

My family often gets involved in designing scenes on my layout.
This pond was designed and built by my Niece and Nephew.

One of the unusual things about my layout is that it makes good use of outdoor track.  Some years ago, my Father
built this barnyard scene.  Though it is way out of scale, with the "Toy Train" thought
in mind, O-Gauge looks pretty good rounding the bend through the BarnYard.

The Lehigh Valley Traveling Boxcar passes the Farm in one of the two rooms
that are on my Internet controlled layout.

This is the actual TrainYard..  http://www.trainyard.net  It is designed to store lots of trains and allow
the remote operation of as many accessories as I can find.
The town in the foreground is the latest project.  I am using MTH and Cornerstone buildings.
The street is temporarily constructed on butcher paper.  The curb is 1/2 inch plywood.
The final construction will be on 3/8 plywood and black roofing paper.
The initial tests look pretty good.

Thanks For Visiting
