Who Is The New Generation?

1968, Don Bluth and Ellen Davis formed a singing group called The New Generation.  This was a locally-based group of young people who all shared a love of music and performing. My sister, Debbie, and I were part of this wonderful "goodwill" organization, and spent innumerable happy hours together rehearsing and doing shows.  During the period that the group was active, we rehearsed twice a week, and performed throughout California and the Western United States.  One Christmas was spent on tour in Mexico, with our parents among the other game chaperones that accompanied us!!

The experience that all of us had in those years was truly unforgettable (we just gathered together from all over the country to celebrate a 30th reunion)--and has been an inspirational force behind the evolution of the Diane Davisson Dancers!  It is such a pleasure to be able to share the sounds and memories of what we now call our "Middle Generation!"
