Concerning the 1971 San Francisco Tour

Remember our bus driver Chuck and all of the fun we had with him and our mystery tour at the Madonna Inn - the men's rest room!!  How about the church we stayed in and taking showers up at the Nunnery.  Singing at the prison or reform institution with just men in the audience and how we were told how to get out of there if anything were to happen, like the men rushing the stage. The sour doug bread we bought in San Francisco just in case we didn't get a good meal in the future.  The singing on the bus all the way up and Don telling us to stop because if we lose our voices we would never here the end of it.  The very quiet bus ride home as all of us were tired and our voices were almost gone.  My time with the group wasn't very long although I hung around with you guys long before I joined in.  I think I was afraid of not making it, of not being good enough to be a part of such a great group.  I look forward to seeing you all again, I haven't missed a reunion yet, and I sure do hope that I won't miss the 30th!!

Sincerely,

Tracie Thayer Ireland
