What Is The New Generation?
In 1968 Don Bluth, and Ellen Davis formed a singing group called The New Generation that consisted of young people performing popular and show music. The New Generation was made up of approximately 50 kids from the Santa Monica, Culver City and other areas near and around Los Angeles, California.
The New Generation was a voluntary "good will" organization that rehearsed twice a week, performed regularly and toured Southern California, Mexico, Nevada and Utah.
The group disbanded in the early 70's but has kept in touch through the organization of several reunion parties. This page was formed by a New Generation member with access to the WWW for the purpose of compiling pictures memories and stories submitted by other members.
