During its travels, the Traveling Boxcar made a visit to Allentown, PA where Chris, John, Richard, Chuck  and the "Lehigh Valley HiRailers" provided us with a visit to the Allentown Spring Thaw Train Meet!

The "Lehigh Valley HiRailers" were proud to show the Traveling Boxcar to Forum members and the public.

The Traveling Box Car rolls past the rock face modules of the Lehigh Valley Hirailers.

The Traveling Boxcar is right at home with a host of eastern road names on the Lehigh Valley HiRailers modular layout.

The background is framed by the famous Soldiers and Sailors Monument at 7th and Hamilton Streets.
You can also see the famous PPL tower.


The Traveling Boxcar visits Alentown's new layout.


Chuck (Alentown) plans a Lehigh Valley theme for his new layout. Shown is one of the area's famous covered bridges, an Air Products plant (Air Products is headquartered in nearby Trexlertown), and the beginnings of a Bethlemhem Steel office building.
