The Carla Anderson Volume
September 1998

I am able to make the reunion, but I am sure the evening will be tough to have quiet talk.  Too much fun at Cathy's last time!!

I am in Little Rock, yes and ran with Bill on the streets years ago.  I have a 16 year old Brent and 19 year old Breanne.  Divorced almost 10 years ago, my ex works at the same company that Roger McKay works-- America West airlines in Phoenix   ( my ex being a pilot though).  I enjoy being certified and working in Family Medicine at a clinic here.  Changes in medicine have not changed how much I love it though.  In the last few years I have been able attempt to discover what is important and tackle the difficult question of what I want in life.  Not too far along in this task though!!

My sister lives in Northern Arkansas along a great canoeing river with her husband who builds and runs restaurants in surrounding states, (Dixie Cafe).   My mother is here in Little Rock and is adjusting to the loss of my father on 30 May 98.  We all have had a time adjusting to the loss of my 39 year old brother in Atlanta ( Delta pilot) of sudden cardiac death 2 years ago.  Mourning is an odd process.

Today I am going to mountain bike with my boyfriend in the Ozark's.  Running is really my best hobby as well as reading  (John Irving current author).  Singing and piano are also priorities as I try to find time for lessons, a continual struggle (to find the time that is).  I find joy in singing in the choir , and going to the theater.  I don't come close to the expertise most of you have to use it for productive benefits.

The New Generation was a time for me to begin to discover the other side of enjoyment --  I guess the opposite side of the brain that I am used to using.  I left that discovery for a time to do my studies and now I am finally back to broaden my horizons!!   The friends in the New Generation are family in my memory, I look forward to keeping in touch.
